The board reacted to reports stating that a company associated with Ranya was given 12 acres of industrial land by KiadB in 2023.

In view of the possibility of taking the political turn of the case, the office of the medium and big industry minister MB Patil shared the final notification of the government on 22 February 2023 regarding the allocation of land in Sirah Industrial Area of ​​Tumkuru district to Ranya’s company Kshiroda India. The Congress came to power in May 2023 after defeating BJP in the Karnataka assembly elections.

The minister’s office said in a statement that the Karnataka government proceedings said, “Kshiroda India Private Limited has been approved to set up a unit for building a unit for the manufacture of ‘Steel Products – TMT bar, rod and related products’ in Sira Industrial Area of ​​Tumkuru district.
