Talented actress Farida Jalal of Hindi cinema recently remembered working with Shah Rukh Khan and said that she has always been very mother towards her. She said that when she worked with King Khan, she really felt the mother-son relationship, and since she was not a mother in her life, she always felt that she used to give more love.

In a conversation with Galatta Plus, Farida Jalal revealed about Shah Rukh Khan, ‘I got a chance to work with him in many films. He was full of life. I did not see the energy like him in anyone. I have enjoyed every moment of my journey with him. Talking about her Mamta affection towards King Khan, she said, ‘I have done many films with him, played the role of his mother. I really feel the feeling of mother-son relationship with Shahrukh. I really think so and since there was no mother in her life, I always felt that I should give them as much ‘Mamta’ as possible.

He also shared the story of meeting Shah Rukh Khan for the first time on the sets of the 1992 film ‘Dil Aashna Hai’, which was one of his first signed films. He said that he was very shy and lived in himself. He further said that during the shooting of DDLJ, he saw a different form of Shahrukh. On the set of this blockbuster, he was a completely different Shahrukh. Success also makes you like this’ he said.
