The Defense Ministry and External Affairs Ministry refused to comment about this missile deal. Indonesia’s Defense Ministry did not comment on it.

Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said that in the last decade, the export of defense has increased from about Rs 2,000 crore to Rs 21,000 crore. Singh had said that by 2029, the target is to increase the export related exports to about Rs 50,000 crore. He said that Army Training Centers are playing an important role in preparing soldiers for future challenges. Singh said that there have been major changes in the methods of war. This includes information, artificial intelligence, electromagnetic and cyber attacks. He said that the army needs to be equipped with better training as well as equipment to fight such attacks.
