What is the story of the series?
The ‘Panchayat’ series is based on the life of Abhishek (Jitendra Kumar), who is appointed as Secretary of Gram Panchayat in Phulera village. Unhappy with the life of the village, Abhishek stays in the panchayat office and starts preparing for competitive examinations. Apart from him, stars like Raghubir Yadav, Nina Gupta, Shanwika, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar and Pankaj Jha have played important characters in the series.
