The investigation in the Gold Smuggling case against Ranya Rao has intensified. In this case, his close friend and Tollywood actor Tarun Raju alias Virat Konduru Raju has been arrested by the team of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.

The 30 -year -old actor played the lead role in the film in the year 2018.

In fact, the investigation revealed that his close friend and Tollywood actor Tarun Raju can also be a hand in this matter. DRI officials have also started investigating from this angle whether more people associated with the film industry are involved in this racket.

According to sources in the Karnataka Police Department, Tarun Raju is known as Virat Konduru in the Telugu film industry. He is the grandson of a well -known businessman from Andhra Pradesh. Konduru has acted in the 2018 Telugu film ‘Introduction’, which has an IMDB rating of 7.9. After the release of the film, the graph of his acting career started falling. In a pre-release interview, Konduru expressed his passion for cinema and stated that his family had relations with Bengaluru.

He also claimed that Rao had spent his visits several times and he had first tried to bring gold from Africa.
