The actress came to me to become an actress and not the mother of my children.

Not Nargis, wife was priority for Raj Kapoor
He indicated in his statement that he was never going to marry Nargis. His priority was his family. He lived in different places for his relations and family. Overall, he made it clear that he would not break his marriage for Nargis. He stayed with Krishna Kapoor till the end.
