New Delhi: Famous filmmaker and director Subhash Ghai told how he woven the story of the 1980 blockbuster film ‘Karj’ around a special scene. While sharing a picture from the film’s set on social media, Ghai mentioned the scene where the soul of a mother recognizes her dead son and leaves her second son, Monty.
He said, “This one scene gave birth to ‘debt’.” He further said that he never thought that this film would be such a big hit and people will remember it even after 45 years. Know, the debt was released in the year 1980. Which had flopped at that time but later became a cult.
In another post, Ghai said that his production company is looking for Mukta Arts, new talent that can weave extraordinary stories. He said that Mukta Arts is ready to make something new and fantastic for Indian cinema.
